Ghar Grihisti is a story of Indian womanhood, and the greatness of Indian Woman. "Janki" is a well educated girl from a middle class family. Being the eldest, she takes the responsibility to support her family. She even decides not to get married because of such unfavourable conditions. Her family comprises of a handicapped father, an unwell mother, Mangesh an umemployed brother, Sharvari a sister with a flashy attitude and Bandu her mentally handicapped brother.
