Shankerlal (Ramesh deao) was once so poor that he could not provide food for his twin daughters Shyamli and Lily(poonam dhillon)one day when he went in search of food for his family, he was unaware that Shyamli had left the house following him and she got lost. Time changed, Shankerlal became rich. He had everything that wealth could purchase but the memory of Shyamli made him sad. He did not know that Shyamli had been brought up by a poor singer Vishnuprasad and she was living with him as his daughter. There was a spate of murders of young girls in the city. The police did not know who was the killer.The killer was Ranjit(Shakti kapoor),who was a Respectable businessmen in the city. Shankerlal was in search of a suitable boy to marry his daughter lily. When he met Ranjit, he liked him and decided to marry his daughter Lily to him. Amit(Farooq Shaikh) was a C.I.D officer, who had been deputed to catch the killer. During his investigation he met Lily and he fell in love withher. Shankerlal forcibly tried to marry his daughter to Ranjit, When preparation were made for the marriage Lily ran away from home to secretly marry Amit. But Ranjit saw her running away.He chased her and caught her in a deserted bungalow. To save herself from him she jumped in a ravine and died.But Ranjit's sins had caught up with him. When Lily's soul appeared before him, He trembled and begged her forgiveness. He said,"your death was not my fault. Your beauty had made me mad.Please forgive me Lily, Did Lily's soul excuse him,what happened to Shyamli. Did Amit take Revenge for the death of his beloved..... |
