While Gandhi was hailed as the father of the nation, his son Harilal always resented the fact that for him, he was like a father who never was. Even Mahatma Gandhi accepted this fact once and apologises to his son for the same. But rather than forgive his father, Harilal chooses to tread the path that is completely against his idealistic father’s principles.
